Avoid Magnesium Deficiency with a Healthy Diet

There are so many things that we need to worry about for our health: did you get enough fiber today? Have you drank enough water? Did you remember your probiotic supplements? Sheesh, it can seem a bit daunting, right? And here’s something else to think about: magnesium deficiency, which is much more common than you think. The results of too little magnesium in our bodies can be detrimental and can lead to muscle aches, headaches, sleep issues and more.

One of the best ways to keep yourself healthy is to eat a balanced diet that includes a ton of fresh fruit and vegetables. Choose vegetables that are seasonal, colorful and fresh (or frozen). A variety of fresh fruits and veggies bring color and a wide variety of nutrients to your plate, and adding in whole grains like quinoa, oatmeal and rice can add even more benefit, and help you get all your nutrients, including magnesium.
