Sick of the cloyingly sweet, artificial pumpkin spice drinks at large coffee shops? Try this healthier pumpkin spice latter recipe. It has real pumpkin in it!
By now you’ve probably seen that Food Babe slammed the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice latte for being packed with artificial and genetically modified ingredients. Knowing what’s in that cozy mug might make you feel like you can’t indulge in this tasty fall treat. But you can have your pumpkin spice latte and drink it, too. Just make it at home!
You can get the creamy, sweet, pumpkin spice goodness that you associate with fall weather without all of the caramel color. And when you make a homemade pumpkin spice latte, you can control how sweet it is. Start with no sweetener, and add a bit more until you get it just how you like.
