First Truth: I had never had Sloppy Joes until I made this recipe.

Second truth: I want to eat them everyday. And you will too.

Vegan Sloppy Joes Recipe: The Ultimate Vegan Comfort Food
looks unsexy, tastes wildly good

I developed this amazing vegan Sloppy Joes recipe when I was working with Life Foods, a Maui-based food company that has created a delicious line of vegan, gluten-free, superfood products for everyday meals. This recipe features the Breakfast Sausage, which is a damn good product by itself. But, mixed with some perfectly cooked lentils, tomatoes and a few spices, this meal really sings. I like it served best with some homemade sauerkraut and lots of condiments. Get some today!

Life Foods is available throughout Hawaii and select locations on the US mainland. Learn more here. If you can’t yet find Life Foods in your hometown, substitute 2 of your favorite veggies burgers here for the four sausages.
