Green Smoothies: Join the Challenge and Boost your Health

Our friend, vegan crafter and author Becky Striepe of Glue and Glitter has written a great book about how to begin a green smoothie habit. Her book, 40 Days of Green Smoothies, is a step-by-step guide to adding a wide variety of green smoothies into your life. It includes grocery list, budget-saving tips and features 40 different smoothies made with a wide variety of greens (kale! lettuce! parsley!) so that you don’t get bored with any of it.

She’s launched the Green Smoothie Challenge to encourage everyone to join in with this healthy habit. The Challenge officially launched on 3/6, but you can sign up any time. Your personal Challenge starts the day that you sign up. No matter when you start, you’ll get the full six weeks of green smoothie goodness. You’ll receive a welcome email with some inspiration to get you started followed by weekly Green Smoothie Challenge Check Ins (one per week) with tips, recipes, and reminders to help you get your green smoothie habit on track.
